http://www.recreationtherapy.com/tx/txcook.htm
Do your emotions give into bad eating habits?
Yes. When your emotional state is out of the average your more than likely to turn to food to help you. When your either feeling sad, angry or any other type of negative emotion you turn to food to comfort you because you know it wont reject you. Even with special occasions or birthdays or simply just parties their is always going to be some sort of food around.

Halloween
Halloween Past: For me halloween was made a big deal of when i was younger. I loved the idea of dressing up for one night to go get free candy. It was amazing. This one year when i was like 6 or 7 i remembered dressing up as a princess and my mom made me wear this stupid blonde wig. I hated it so much because i kept telling my mom that it didn't match my skin tone. I was so dark when i was younger and i was living in california at the time too so that had a lot to do with it. Well Halloween landed on a friday so i got all dressed up in my costume and off to school i went. As soon as i got to school i ran straight to the bathroom and threw my wig off, well my friend at the time dressed up as a gypsy of something of the sort. She had a dark brown wig and i a blond one so i figured hey why not exchange wigs to macth or nationality. Sure enough she agreed and boy was i ahppy camper by the end of the day...free candy and a whole weekend to eat it all.
Halloween Present: This Halloween is going to be celebrated lightly this year. I plan to go to my boyfriends twin sisters house and have a night filled with horror movies and junk food. However i'm not looking forward to the morning because of the fact i have to go to work and two i know i'm going to have the biggest stomach ache EVER!! I also plan on scaring my boyfriend and his sister. Me and Josh (which is my boyfriends sisters boyfriend) have something amazing planned out involving her 5 year old son. But now that i kinda think about it she will probably end up crying instead of scared because her son will be covered in blood. Hopefully everything will come out the way we have planned and she wont stay mad at me too long..
Halloween Future: In the future i plan on celebrating Halloween full force. Go all out from the costume to decorating. Annual Halloween parties to the great junk food. Just thinking about it is already giving me a sweet tooth. Being the Halloween fanatic that i am not only gives me a boost of creativity when i plan something out as far as the prank of the year for Halloween but also just getting into the spirit. My future Halloweens are going to be like a scarrryyy movie excepy edited to my liking. : )

All Time Gadgets
The first ever mp3 player that was made portable is The Listen Up. Announced in 1996 by CEO Nathan Schulof. Even though not much is known about this portable gadged, an eBay listing from October 2009 said only 25 were ever produced. If this is true this product must have not been a very popular gadget in its time. This gadget must have been targeted towards teens to adults.
The mp3 player only picked up radio stations and was not equiped for downloading music. As simple as the product was it just like a radio only protable. if i was in the postion of the CEO Nathan Schulof i would not have of given the okay to get these mp3's produced and shipped out.
In 2001 Steve Jobs introduced the new toy of music, the Apple ipod. This gadget was enhanced mith many features from telling time to showing the battery life of the ipod. This ipod was marketed towards children, early teens to aduls. It had a colored screen and games. With music and games to pass the time who would not have one of these. The first make of an ipod was not better compared to what we have now. The newer modles of the ipod have built in speakers so you can listen to them without earphones. They also have the ability to download movies, photos and even make a slide show.
This invention lead to millions of dollars in sells and still increasing in the modern day ipod invented by apple.

Minor children and the law
Minor Children and the Law
The Parent Liability Child’s Act refers’s to a parent's obligation to pay for damage done by negligent, intentional, or criminal acts of that parent's child. The act no longer applies when the child reaches the age of majority and does not begin unless the child is between the ages eight and ten. Therefore, when the minor child commits a crime it is the parent’s obligation to pay the consequences of what was done. Despite the facts, there are many reasons why the parents should not accept the consequences of what was done by their minor child.
Breaking the law involves consequences, and those consequences are only served to those who do the crime, such as minor children. If they do the crime they need to do the time, no matter how old. Children such as minors know the difference between right and wrong. Children today who do commit these crimes are getting let off too easily. Many court systems in our country today have out the blame on the parents. These parents are law abiding citizens, who would give their lives for their children. However the court continues to direct the crime to the parents, and sends them to jail. Meanwhile, the children who have committed the crime are sent home.
For decades, civil liability laws held parents somewhat responsible for the actions of their children. They either pay program fees related to juvenile courts or corrections. For example, Idaho, Indiana, and New Hampshire passed laws in 1995 making parents pay for the care of their children confined in juvenile facilities. In Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, New Hampshire, North Dakota, and Virginia, parents are responsible for victim restitution. Some states, such as Rhode Island and Texas, require parents to participate with their children in counseling or education programs and at court hearings. Parents have always been held liable, to a certain extent that is, for their children's actions in the United States. Some of the early parental liability statutes provided the juvenile court system jurisdiction over parents who had contributed to the delinquency of a minor. Parents are an influence over their child, but if a child commits murder whether, it was planned out or not, should be tried as an adult. A child who is under the age of eighteen would be placed in a specialized facility with others of his or her age, apart from the adults. After a certain age they would be transferred to the adult facility.
It is however, the responsibility of an adult to constantly stay on top of things involving their children. Minor children are not old enough to accept adult consequences, so it is taken up to the parents to be resolved. If the parents are blamed then what is being done to the minor who acctually doing the crime? What will keep them from doing it again and the parents suffering, nothing.
Some of us have committed a crime in our youth. Maybe it was stealing a candy bar from the neighborhood store or stealing your parent’s car for a joy ride at age sixteen. In the end it was the person who committed the crime to accept punishment, so why change the acceptance of punishment whether the crime was small or large? You should not change it. It is a person’s free will to do what he or she pleases knowing that consequences are involved depending what the action was. So for preteens and adolescents who do adult crimes should pay the adult price.
Parents should not be responsible for their children’s actions involving crimes. Children have the mentality to determine what is right and wrong. No matter what their age and the type of crime committed, they should accept the full punishment. Their actions were caused by their own will and not the parents.

The Great Moon Hoax
Did we land on the moon first? On February 15th the Fox television show aired a program all about the Unites States landing on the moon first. Many guests on the show argued that NASA in the 1960's was not capable to reach the moon due to technology. In their theory they believed that NASA wanted to win the space race between the Soviets so bad that they acted out the space landing in movie studios. Those involved in the Conspiracy Theory state that the pictures of the astronauts transmitted from the moon do not include stars in the lunar sky.
Now, most photographers know that in their line of profession it is hard to capture something very bright and something very dim on a photograph. Another so called "Conspiracy" came up when they seen a picture of astronauts placing a U.S flag on the moon. The Flag however was rippling, but how can that be so if space in nothing but a vacuum? The only logical solution that can be thought of to solve this conspiracy is the fact that when astronauts were placing the flag on the moon they were rotating it back and forth thus, causing the flag to wave. NASA said that just as Columbus carried a few hundred natives back to Spain as evidence of his trip to the New World, so did Apollo astronauts but instead of bringing slaves back they brought 841 pounds of Moon rock.
Meteoroids exceed speeds of 50,000 mph, many times faster that a speeding bullet. Moon rocks are known to have isotopes which are not found on Earth. Now knowing this information why do Conspirathists say that scientists make their own moon rocks? McKay states that making a moon rock to fool a international army of scientists might be more difficult that the Manhattan Project. Thus, brings up another idea.
Did NASA go to the moon to collect moon rocks for their moon landing? Many researchers have examined the Apollo Moon samples and not one researcher all belonged to NASA. Dozens of scientists in different countries were loaned the sample from NASA. Now if NASA had to go thru all this trouble to just stage a fake moon landing wouldn't it have been easier to actually have went to the moon, then go to the trouble of producing a fake one.
Those who called the moon landing a hoax were proven wrong or right depending what side you are taking. For every conspiracy there was a reasonable answer to it. The lack of technology in the 1960's did not prove to be a problem for thier mission to land on the moon. Neither did the flag when it was being placed on the moon by both astronauts. So the question comes around again, did we land on the moon? You decide.

Remembering The Unforgetable
This fateful event that happened in September 9, 2001, at exactly 8:46 AM, was in fact known to many people as 9/11. As any ordinary day would start, this particular morning was in anyway not like that it was, in fact; a very memorable experience for them. At exactly 8:46 Flight 11 slammed into the North tower of the world trade center. F-16's can travel a maximum speed of 1500 mph. Traveling even at 1250 mph, at least one of the F-16's could have returned to Washington within 10 minutes and started patrolling the skies well before 9:00 A.M.
The men responsible for this fatal tragedy killed exactly 2,976 American citizens. I can imagine how many of these peoples family may have gone through remembering there losses. They will be greatly remembered and lived through by the memories of their families. Mohamed Atta, from Egypt, was the ringleader of the 19 hijackers and one of the pilots.Fifteen of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, two from the United Arab Emirates, one from Egypt, and one from Lebanon.
A 12 year old little girl called the Pentagon to try and get a hold of her parents because they worked there, the man who answered the phone call could not answer here question because he did not know the status of her parents. The next day he came to work welcomed by a big hug from the little girls parents. This kid was a senior in high school, when his teacher turned on the television to see a bunch of Muslims celebrating the 9 11 attacks. "I am an American Muslim." says the kid "The terrorists who called themselves "Muslims" took responsibility for the attacks and because of that, my life has changed ever since." This student and two other Muslim girls were asked by the principal to go into the library for safety precautions. How can September 11, 2001 not be forgotten? These tragic stories will never be forgotten but is only a small fragment of the thousands out their with their own stories.
American Airlines Flight 11 from Boston to Los Angeles, United Airlines, flight 175 from Boston to Los Angeles, American Airlines Flight 77 from Dulles to Los Angeles, United Airlines Flight 93 from Newark to San Francisco were all hijacked in the 9/11 attacks. Out of all these four planes only three were lost. When this tragic moment in history happened I was only ten years old. I faintly remember the memory of what was happening during this time. All I remember was that i was in the family living room watching television anything after that i really don't remember.
September 9, 2001 is very sad for me to remember, personally i did not have any loss in the event. But i just think of all the people that died and then think of their families. I can barely grasp the events that occurred that fateful day but the think of loosing someone very dear to me is even more horrifying to think. I see this as a opportunity to learn from what happened and continue on with the hope of a better future.

How to become a spy
How to become a Spy!!
- A background without any criminal or bad debts record is a must and other qualities includes being trustworthy, ethical, dependable and responsible.
Having a background record without any default as I can see is useless if spying is going to involve braking the law anyway. (non-scholarly)
- A good academic record with a graduate degree in a scale of at least a 3.0 GPA or 4.0 with subjects like international relations, economics, etc., are preferred.
Is there really a requirement in such subjects in education to qualify you as a "Spy" ?? I think NOT. (non-scholarly)
- There should be no illegal drug record for the last 12 months and having no record is even better.
Is having or not having a drug record required or necessary to have? What does your drug record have to do with becoming a spy? (non-scholarly)
- a person who secretly collects and reports information on the activities, movements, and plans of an enemy or competitor.
This is scholarly because it is the definition of a spy in the encyclopedia. It is more realistic.

It's All About Me!
Hi there, my name is Priscilla. Let's see I really don't know were to start, so i guess the basics will have to do. I am eighteen years old and currently reside in Sterling, Colorado. I also am a freshman at Northeastern Junior College and hope to major in Nursing. I live at home with the parentals while attending college and also have a job. I work at Rivercity Grill as a Hostess. My job is kinda like my second family. Everyone who I work with is amazing and make my job easier. Working with them makes it seem like not working at all. It's Great!!
College life for me has barely began, so i really dont know what to expect. My older brother; however, attended here also and he said it was great. But i mainly think it went all well for him because he was a slacker...go figure?? If ya know the kid, YOU know what I am talking about. My family is fairly large, well I am Mexican so it's not very uncommen. I have eight brothers and 1 sister, whom all I love a lot. I'm second to the oldest and the 1st in my family to graduate highschool.
